BUILT FOR SINGLETRACK.

All 299 MTB Way trails are in the app, offline. You know every turn before you get there, and whether you are under your PR.

299 TRAILS. ONE POCKET.

The whole country is in the app, offline. Every trail with its line, turns, climbs and start. No signal in the woods? It makes no difference.

263 trails with the full line; on 36 you follow the signs.

TrailCall

RIDE. DON’T SEARCH.

Every turn reaches you 8–10 seconds ahead. A tap on your wrist: left feels different from right. Straight on stays silent.

At a fork the app draws the right branch (LinePick).

RACE YOUR PR. LIVE.

Every trail has segments that start and stop by themselves. You see live whether you are ahead of your PR, and you hear a record.

LaserClimb

SEE THE CLIMB COMING.

Every climb is measured beforehand, down to the metre: how long, how steep, where the top is. Short bumps included.

1,357climbs and bumps, from AHN4.

BarMode

WRIST OR BAR.

Your whole ride on Apple Watch, even without your iPhone. On your bar the screen turns with it; the Digital Crown pages through.

On the bar you turn Wrist Detection off; you pair a heart rate strap straight to your Watch.

WRONG TURN? RIGHT BACK.

  • Within 40 m you know.
  • The way back runs over real trails, not in a straight line through the woods.
  • One tap and you have the shortest way to your car.
  • When the light goes, the app says it once, in time.

GripCheck

GRIP? BUSY? CLOSED?

Know before you load the bike. The same grip, crowding and reports as on mtbway.com, fresh every hour, in the app too.

MEDALS

EARNED, NOT GIVEN.

After the ride you see how fast you went on the climb, the descent and the flat. Sometimes that earns a medal, from your own ride.

  • Medal VASTE PRIK. An ink-aluminium loop coin: the lime Amerongen loop breaking out of the coin, a large 10 in dark chrome, ten lap slots in the ring and an arrow ending on the real start, in the riding direction.

  • Medal NONSTOP. A steel trail marker post: the lime Amerongen loop (from the route package) breaking out of the outline, the arrowhead on the real start in the riding direction; below it 18.7 KM and NONSTOP in relief, the trail name on the side.
